Steve Law, CEO, Lyreco

It's been just over two years since Steve Law was officially named as permanent CEO of Lyreco.

During that time the company stalwart has led a number of initiatives to modernise the global contract reseller, most notably the launch of a new e-commerce platform and the expansion of Lyreco’s products and services.

The Lyreco way is not to rush into things and the firm has been methodical in adding new categories such as personal protection equipment, jan/san and promotional products. The new online platform has enabled customers to create their own ‘Your Lyreco’ space which includes features such as on-demand web-to-print.

A strategic review last year led to the recent sale of the Canadian business to leading local player Novexco, while Lyreco’s North American strategy also evolved with the signing of a global contracts agreement with US mega-independent dealer WB Mason – a move made necessary following the merger of Office Depot with former strategic partner OfficeMax.
