US independent reseller Storey Kenworthy has acquired fellow Iowa dealer Rite Price Office Supply.
The acquisition takes the number of Storey Kenworthy locations in the state to 12 and comes just 18 months after it bought Vinton-based Monkeytown.
“Our ability to continue growing while the overall market for office products is shrinking reflects Storey Kenworthy’s ability to react quickly as the market undergoes rapid consolidation, and the company’s unique ability to serve all the furniture and office products needs of companies large and small,” said President John Kenworthy.
Rite Price was founded in 1979 by Richard Price and was purchased by Tom and Jill Kleppe, and Todd and JoDee Granberg in March 1995. The company serves customers in north-east Iowa and south-west Wisconsin. Storey Kenworthy offered jobs to Rite Price employees, while former owners Tom and Jill Kleppe will stay on to manage the Oelwein location.
