22 March 2005 – Chennai (IND): Xerox has announced that Indian engineering and consumer products company Godrej is to become the authorised sales partner for its suite of office products in India.
Godrej will buy products from Xerox appointed distributors and sell them directly to key customers across India, according to the agreement. It will also become the authorised service partner for the Xerox product line.
The Indian company already has an established network in 14 cities across India, which is expected to significantly boost Xerox’s partner led business model.
The agreement comes into immediate effect.
