Weyerhaeuser makes senior South America appointment


8 November 2005 – Federal Way (WA): Weyerhaeuser has appointed Marvin Ray Risco as managing director of its South America division, effective from 1 January.

Risco has most recently served as Uruguayan joint venture managing director at the company. He will continue to be based in Montevideo and will report to Sandy McDade, SVP of industrial wood products and international.


Weyerhaeuser also announced that VP Gary Drobnack will retire at the end of March in 2006, following a 34-year career at the firm.
