9 December 2005 – Mexico City (MEX): Walmex has announced that its same-store sales rose 6.8 per cent in November.
Total sales for the month were 14.173 billion pesos ($1.35 billion), up 15.1 per cent from the same month last year.
Earlier this year the company said it was boosting its expansion programme to open 95 stores in 2005, 25 more than originally planned.
