Walgreens embarks on ink refill strategy

 

3 October 2006 — Deerfield (IL): Walgreens, the biggest drugstore chain in the US, has developed a core-effective and eco-friendly alternative to replacing empty inkjet printer cartridges.

 

Customers can take their empty cartridges to any photofinishing counters at Walgreens and have them refilled at half the cost of buying a replacement.
