1 December 2005 – Bentonville (AR): Wal-Mart has announced that same-store sales grew 4.3 per cent in November, due to strong demand at the start of the holiday shopping season.
The retail giant had forecast a 3 to 5 per cent sales growth for the period.
Total sales for the month rose 9.4 per cent to $25.77 billion.
