3 July 2006 — Bentonville (AS): Wal-Mart has estimated that June sales rose 1.2 percent at its US same-stores, the low end of its forecast.
The world’s biggest retailer said it had expected same-store growth of 1 percent to 3 percent. Most other retailers will release final sales results on Thursday.
