3 November 2005 – Bentonville (AR): Wal-Mart has posted a 4.3 per cent rise in same-store sales for October, meeting its estimates for the period.
The company has forecast growth of 3 to 5 per cent in comp sales for November.
Total sales for the month increased 10.5 per cent to $23.26 billion.
