12 December 2005 – Bentonville (AR): Wal-Mart has maintained its December forecast for a 2 to 4 per cent sales growth at its stores in the US.
The world’s biggest retailer said that it expects the last Saturday before Christmas – which falls on Christmas Eve this year – to be the busiest shopping day of the year, with consumer electronics at the top of customers’ wish-lists.
