Two retire from Lexmark board

23 February 2007 — Lexington (KY): Chuck Ames and Skip Walker are retiring from Lexmark International’s board of directors.

Ames, 81, a principal of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice and former CEO of Reliance Electric Company, has been a director of the company since March 1991.

 

Walker, 74, a former CEO of MA Hanna Company, has been a director of the company since February 1997.

 

Paul Curlander, chairman and CEO, said: "Lexmark and its shareholders owe a debt of gratitude to Chuck Ames and Skip Walker for their long-time commitment to the best interests of the company and for the wise counsel they have offered. Chuck has been associated with Lexmark since our inception as a company and Skip has been a valued member of our board for a decade. Their insights will be missed."
