Two retire from IP board


8 January 2007 — Memphis (TN): James Henderson and W Craig McClelland have retired from International Paper’s (IP) board of directors in compliance with the company’s mandatory retirement age policy for directors.


McClelland, a former CEO and chairman of the board of the fine papers company Union Camp, had served as a director of the board since 1999.


Henderson had also been a member of the board since 1999 and had previously served as chairman and CEO of electrical power specialist Cummins from 1995 to 1999.
