Tullis Russell chief to step down


14 May 2007 — Fife (UK): Group chief executive Don Munro is to retire from Scottish paper manufacturer and specialist coating group Tullis Russell.

He will be succeeded in September by Chris Parr, currently serving the company as managing director of Tullis Russell Papermakers.


Parr will initially combine his new role with his existing position while the longer term management structure of the business is considered.


Munro said: "Tullis Russell is an excellent company and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I am very pleased at what we have achieved against the backdrop of turbulent times for our industry. We have built a strong team at Tullis Russell and I know the business will continue to prosper."
