31 May 2006 – Guildford (UK): Tesco has launched a new digital photo service that allows customers to order prints online and pick them up instore an hour later.
Customers will be able to upload their pictures at the retailer’s website, edit and select the pictures they want printed and place the order with their local Tesco outlet.
The new system will be rolled-out this week at three Extra stores, with Tesco aiming to extend it to over 250 stores with mini-labs over the next 12 months.
