25 April 2006 – Cheshunt (UK): Tesco has posted a 17 per cent rise in FY underlying profit.
UK non-food sales rose 13 per cent for the year 2005/6. Pre-tax profit was £2.21 billion compared to £2.19 billion the previous year. International sales were up 23 per cent.
