6 June 2006 — Clearwater (FL): IT distributor Tech Data has secured an exclusive agreement with Bucharest-based BitDefender to supply its complete line of anti-virus and firewall applications for the small-to-midsize business (SMB) market.
Tech Data will market for the first time in the US IT channel, BitDefender’s data and Internet security solutions, which are used by more than 41 million businesses and households worldwide.
The software solutions provide intrusion prevention, anti-virus protection, content filtering and spyware blocking, scaled and competitively priced for the SMB market.
