8 December 2005 – Taipei (TWN): Taiwanese LCD manufacturers are expected to see huge growth in the first half of 2006, according to investment bank Lehman Brothers.
In its Asia Display Quarterly 4Q05, Lehman Brothers said it expects LCD monitor shipments to rise 23 per cent to 126 million units, with Taiwan’s four largest LCD manufacturers ­– AU Optronics, Chi Mei Optoelectronics, Chunghwa Picture Tubes and Quanta Display – all seeing double-digit revenue growth in 2006.
