26 June 2006 — Federal Way (NY): The US Supreme Court has said it will hear an appeal by Weyerhaeuser over an antitrust judgement of around $78 million awarded to a competitor.
In 2003, Ross-Simmons Hardwood Lumber was awarded $26 million but this was tripled according to federal antitrust laws. Weyerhaeuser appealed the case but the court upheld the findings until now.
