9 March 2006 – Bradford (UK): Superstat and Graphic Dealers Ltd (GDL) have formed a strategic alliance giving all members access to membership benefits.
The agreement brings an additional 25 dealers to Superstat with a combined turnover of £60 million in stationery, EOS and art materials.
Managing Director of GDL, Graham Baulch said: "After considering a number of options, including some other buying groups, we have concluded that working with Superstat will give us the best selection of wholesale buying terms, some flexible direct buying deals and the opportunity to work with some like-minded, innovative marketing professionals in an allied business sector."
Both groups will continue to remain independent, but have pledged to work together on a number of relevant projects.
