Superstat forms alliance with Graphic Dealers



Superstat has formed a strategic alliance with Graphic Dealers Ltd (GDL), giving all members access to membership benefits. The agreement brings an additional 25 dealers to Superstat, with combined sales of £60 million ($105 million) in stationery, EOS and art materials.
Managing director of GDL, Graham Baulch, said: "After considering a number of options, including some other buying groups, we have concluded that working with Superstat will give us the best selection of wholesale buying terms, some flexible direct buying deals and the opportunity to work with some like-minded, innovative marketing professionals in an allied business sector."
Both groups will continue to remain independent, but have pledged to work together on a number of relevant projects.
Superstat has also described its recent annual supplier day and 2006 catalogue launch, which was held at the Old Trafford football ground in Manchester, as its best ever.
Superstat’s marketing director Karly Beesley said: "The support we received this year was tremendous and the feedback has been great. It really makes it worthwhile to know that our suppliers want to work so closely together and be part of our team."
