3 May 2006 – Chicago (IL): Office furniture shipments in the US returned to double-digit year-on-year growth in March, reports the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA).
Growth for the month was 12 per cent compared with a 9 per cent yearly increase in January and February. BIFMA previously reported double digit increases for five straight months in 2005. The latest increase brought shipments to $885 million with orders rising 10 per cent on the year to approximately $915 million.
