29 September 2004 – Staines (UK): More than 120 dealers packed into the Officepoint conference earlier this month as managing director David Langdown urged members to look at the bigger picture and not just focus on price.
He said: "If the dealer tries to compete only on price, they will not win. There will always be someone who will go cheaper, even if they go bust in the process. The Officepoint dealer must add value at all levels of the dealer to consumer relationship."
Coleraine Office Equipment, Woodway Office Supplies and Chris Cook Print and Office Supplies picked up dealer of the year awards at the event.
