26 April 2006 – Helsinki (FIN): Stora Enso posted a Q1 pre-tax profit of €211 million ($262 million), up from €84 million last year.
Net sales rose 15 per cent to €3.61 billion, boosted by an acquisition as well as higher prices for all its divisions and increased deliveries for its fine paper and packaging boards units.
