Stora Enso North America not guilty

20 July 2007 — Helsinki (FIN): Stora Enso North America has been found not guilty of alleged anticompetitive conduct in connection with the sale of coated magazine paper in the USA in 2002 and 2003.

The company was indicted by the US Antitrust authorities on 13 December 2006. Following a jury trial in the US Federal District Court in Hartford, Connecticut, the jury found Stora Enso not guilty of the charges.
