18 February 2005 – Lexington (MA): Staples chairman Tom Stemberg has joined venture capitalist firm Highland Capital Partners as partner.
In his new role, he will help companies identify new investment opportunities. He said: "This is an exciting opportunity for me to put my experience and skills to work in a whole new way. The position with Highland will give me the opportunity to return to my entrepreneurial roots and spend time working closely with the next generation of great entrepreneurs."
