1 March 2006 – Framingham (MA): Shares of Staples hit a 52-week high after posting a 15 per cent jump in Q4 profit.
The company reported Q4 net income of $290 million, or EPS of $0.39, from $251.3 million, or EPS $0.33, a year earlier. Its shares closed up $1.47, or 6.4 per cent, to finish at $24.54 at the close of trading on Tuesday.
