Staples offering SoHo customers helping hand

26 January 2007 — Framingham (MA): Staples is launching its new EasyTech service to make life easier for its small office/home office (SoHo) customers.

From 30 January, every Staples store in the US will have an in-store technician to help customers with services such as hardware and software installations, data protection and security, and repair and troubleshooting.

 

As part of the new service launch, Staples is offering free installation of Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, and Windows Vista Ultimate, $19.99 unlimited installation of any software, $29.99 unlimited installation of any hardware, and $39.99 unlimited hardware/software combinations until 31 March.

 

Bob MacDonald, VP of technology services, said: "With Staples EasyTech, we are offering our customers a whole new level of service so they can easily take advantage of every option and capability afforded by new technologies."

 

He continued: "By rolling out our services in combination with the availability of Windows Vista, home office workers and small businesses can benefit from this easier, safer, and more robust operating system right from day one."
