29 March 2005 – Framingham (MA): Staples has promoted Patrick Seghin to president of its European catalogue business.
Seghin, who previously served as managing director of the company’s German retail unit, will report directly to Staples’ president/CEO Ron Sargent, who commented: "Patrick is uniquely qualified to lead our European delivery business through his strategic vision and proven leadership in Staples European operations.
"He will play a key role in driving our brand building and market share growth in the 15 countries we serve throughout Europe."
