12 May 2006 – Framingham (MA): Staples will celebrate its 20th anniversary on 24 May by hosting the first remote opening of the Nasdaq Stock Market in the northeast of the US from its headquarters in Framingham.
Staples chairman and CEO Ron Sargent and Nasdaq president/CEO Bob Greifeld will be both be present at the Opening Bell ceremony, which represents the start of the trading day.
