SPR boosts GPC

21 February 2006 – Smyrna (GA): SP Richards has posted a Q4 sales increase of 10 per cent, its strongest quarter for revenue growth in 2005.
 
The wholesaler hit net sales of $412 million for the quarter compared to $376 million for the same period last year. 
 
Parent firm Genuine Parts Company (GPC), reported Q4 sales of $2.4 billion, up from $2.25 billion, a year earlier. Net income for Q4 was $109 million compared to $96 million in 2004.
