29 March 2006 – Sawston (UK): Steve Hone, managing director of Spicers in the UK and Ireland, has stepped down.
His duties will be undertaken by Spicers CEO Rob Vale.
Vale said: "It is my intention to run the UK and Irish businesses directly for now, and we shall take our time in appointing a successor. The UK and Irish businesses are very important to both our customers and ourselves, and we look forward to developing and strengthening our proposition to better meet the needs of our customers, helping them to be more successful in future."
