8 November 2004 – Hastings (MN): Smead has received two top awards from its European and North American customers for its approach and product quality.
Office Depot named Smead Europe ‘supplier of the year’ in the general office supplies category at its annual vendor conference in southern Spain on 11 October.
Smead was also named ‘business partner of the year’ by Corporate Express (CE) in the filing and folders product categories. The award was presented at the Industrial Excellence Forum in Chicago on 19 October.
CE also recognised Smead for having an excellent working relationship and being a role model for women-owned businesses.
