8 May 2006 – Helsinge (DEN): Danish office furniture manufacturer SIS International has sold the operating activities of its units SIS learning and SIS working, and all shares in SIS akademi as part of a restructuring plan announced last year.
The buyer, Dutch school and office furniture manufacturer Marko Holding, said it will pay cash for the shares, significantly reducing SIS International’s debt.
Upon closing the deal, SIS International’s managing director Soeren Groenbaek resigned and assumed the same post at SIS Functional Furniture while board member Per Michelsen was named managing director of SIS International.
