3 November 2005 – Bentonville (AR): Sam’s Club and EnviroSmart, a printer cartridge recycler, have partnered to help consumers recycle used printer cartridges and old mobile phones more easily.
Launched in October, customers are able to drop off their used inkjet and laser toner cartridges, as well as their old cell phones and batteries, at kiosks inside 11 selected Sam’s Club locations in Alabama, Arkansas, California and Missouri.
Similar programmes are already in place at participating stores in Michigan and the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston metropolitan areas.
