Sales fall at Inscape

30 June 2006 – Ontario (CA): Inscape has reported a slow fourth quarter, with sales at $17.4 million, down from $21.3 million in Q4 2005, on the back of lower shipments, the dollar exchange impact and discontinued seating products.

Sales for the year decreased by $9.3 million to $80.8 million.

Peter Brunelle, president and CEO, said: "Fiscal 2006 was a very challenging year for the organisation and our financial results in many ways reflect the uncertainty under which we began the year."

Based on current order levels, Inscape anticipates that its revenues for Q1 2007 will be in line with Q4 of 2006 but lower than the first quarter of 2006.
