Royal Mail gears up for new pricing system



Royal Mail has launched a direct mail campaign aimed at helping businesses prepare for the introduction of its new pricing system – Pricing in Proportion (PiP).
Packs providing information on the system, which will be introduced across the UK on 21 August 2006, are being sent to half-a-million small, medium and large businesses.
UK packaging company Antalis has produced an envelope template to assist customers with the forthcoming changes. The template has four slots emulating the exact dimensions of the new categories. The guide also states the maximum size, thickness and weight of letters, large letters and packets, allowing customers to physically check which category their post falls into.
