Rewarding the best in Chinese OP

After the success of the inaugural Chinese Office Products Awards ceremony held in November last year, preparations for the 2007 event are now underway. With over 300 attendees from all over the world, these awards herald the achievements of the most vibrant and exciting office products companies operating in China.
If your company is performing successfully, the awards are a great opportunity to have your achievements recognised by the international OP industry. The entry process is open to companies of all sizes and sectors. Individuals and companies can nominate themselves or others. There will also be a prize draw for ten pairs of tickets to the awards dinner.
Winners will be announced at a presentation dinner hosted on 19 November at the InterContinental Hotel Pudong, in Shanghai, during Paperworld China. Don’t miss this chance to have your success story acknowledged in front of the industry’s leading figures.
Building on the success of last year’s event, international companies have been keen to sign up to sponsor the Chinese Office Products Awards 2007, including Esselte, UPM, Hewlett-Packard (HP) and AF International. OPI’s VP  of business development for Asia, Amy Kilby, said: "The interest from the international community along with local Chinese exhibitors just goes to show the increasing competitiveness of the Chinese market."
Last year’s host, HP’s Dennis McComb, said: "At last year’s OPI Chinese awards, there was a great energy and it was a great forum to meet and communicate with industry leaders in the China market. Looking for opportunities to make a splash when introducing our breakthrough ColorLok technology in Asia Pacific, HP and International Paper knew right away that the awards ceremony was the perfect forum for our message – we have the attention of all of the right people at one great event. We’re very excited to tell the ColorLok story at this year’s ceremony."
And Stanley Law, director of Esselte, one of this year’s new sponsors, said: "Of course, the event is important for us to build up the brand in China. It’s important for us not only to win awards, but to let everybody in this industry understand more about Esselte."
The entry process is now underway and will close on 10 September so enter now! Entry is open to anyone operating in China. Tickets for the gala dinner on 19 November 2007 are now on sale and buyers are able to claim their free tickets by contacting india.pride@opi.net.
