28 June 2006 – Amsterdam (NL): Corporate Express North America has announced several new executive appointments, including the creation of a COO function, as part of a restructure designed to enhance customer segment and product line performance.
Jay Mutschler has been appointed COO of Corporate Express North America, effective from 1 July 2006.
Frans Koffrie, chairman of Buhrmann’s executive board and CEO, said: "The new approach provides the opportunity to move the business to a heightened level of performance in terms of customer service and cost effectiveness. The new appointments will help facilitate greater focus on the broad product lines offering and key customer segments."
