Managed print services group Apogee has made what it says is the first of several acquisitions this year.
The UK-based firm has announced the acquisition of Kon-x Wales, an independent managed service provider founded in 2005 that provides print and document hardware and software from multiple manufacturers and supports an installed base of over 2,000 devices.
The Kon-x Wales operation will be fully integrated into the Apogee Group and Kon-x directors Aled Williams and Arwel Griffiths will continue to lead the business from the town of Bangor.
Apogee – which acquired Balreed last year – said that this is the first of several acquisitions it will complete this year to drive growth in the UK and Europe.
