Westcoast founder Joe Hemani has been named as EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 for the London and south, joining three other regional winners for the finals.
In company recognition, Westcoast was the only IT distributor to make it into this year’s Sunday Times Top Track 100, which ranks the UK’s top 100 private companies with the biggest sales. The company was ranked 39, up from 52 last year and is the sixth year running it has been featured in the list.
Hemani said: “Being a privately owned business allows us to be more innovative and service our stakeholders in ways that not all distributors can and these accolades are a reflection of the passion and hard work of all the staff in the group.”
