Save the date! OPI’s European Forum Online 2021 will take place on 1-2 December.
We had hoped to be able to hold an in-person event this year, but in light of the ongoing uncertainties with the COVID situation and the international travel restrictions that are still in force, it has been decided to run the European Forum virtually again this year.
While it is obviously disappointing not to be able to meet up in person, one upside of online events is that more people from more countries can participate. At last year’s European Forum Online, for example, almost 250 executives from 20 different time zones took part – and that provided a great opportunity for the sharing of experiences and ideas.
Taking learnings and feedback from the virtual events OPI has held over the past 18 months, the 2021 European Forum Online will be even more interactive – with a focus on panels, breakouts and networking opportunities.
To avoid what has become known as ‘Zoom fatigue’, the Forum will take place over two days – Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 December – with a mid-morning (European time) start and a mid-afternoon finish.
