Over 80 leading members of the OP industry have gathered in London for the OPI 2015 European Forum.

Last night, delegates met for a relaxed drinks reception and dinner before an early start this morning for a full day of presentations and roundtables, moderated by EVO Group CEO Robert Baldrey.

The Forum kicked off with an illuminating keynote on upcoming digital technology trends from WIRED’s Greg Williams. This was followed by a lively panel debate on the death of the catalogue – or not.

Other sessions included an update on 3D printing and the opportunity it holds for the business supplies sector, and an in-depth look at pricing models and pricing dynamics.

During a session on data, Forum delegates shared innovative ideas in trying to find a way to solve the issue of how it is used and shared for the benefit of everyone.

This afternoon’s roundtable sessions all involve subjects that are making a significant impact on the business supplies industry including Amazon, the Staples/Depot acquisition saga, managed print services and digitisation.

Today’s Forum closes with a Big Interview with ADVEO COO Jean-Yves Sebaoun.
