Former Spicers CEO Bill Armstrong has published the story of his life and career.
The 400-page tome, called A Life In Perspective, begins with Armstrong’s formative years – including his childhood in a mill town near Manchester and life as a teenager in the 1960s. He then devotes a good part of the book to his 34-year career with Spicers – a period in which the company was transformed from a UK manufacturer into a pan-European wholesaler.
The final section of the book is, in Armstrong’s own words, “my attempt to find an accord between my life experience and the revelations and reflections of others”.
A Life In Perspective can be found on Amazon and is available in both paperback and Kindle editions.
