French reseller Fiducial Office Solutions is rolling out bike and waterway deliveries in cities across France.
Depending on the location, the company is offering cargo bike or bike/barge combo deliveries for clients located in city centres. For the former, it has partnered with local cooperative organisation Coopcycle, starting with Nantes, Bordeaux and Montpellier. The aim is to eventually deploy this method of transport in seven cities.
At the end of 2022, Fiducial signed an agreement with last-mile delivery start-up ULS, which is working with logistics giant Geodis on an urban waterway delivery project. Tests have been carried out in Strasbourg, Lyon, Paris and Le Havre, with the goal of expanding this to 19 locations over time.
