The fallout from the collapse of UK dealer group Nectere continues.
An auction will close next Monday for the entire inventory of former Nectere partner Thomas Dick. Asset advisory firm Walker Singleton, which is hosting the online auction, has invited bids on the stock and operational equipment of the York-based dealer. This comes after the company recently ceased to trade, with the appointment of liquidators set to happen shortly.
The stock on sale includes a range of new office supplies and stationery, plus office furniture and warehouse equipment from coffee machines to coffee cups and shelving to multifunction printers.
Walker Singleton Surveyor Joel Carroll commented: “Thomas Dick has traded for in excess of 90 years and enjoyed a reputation for supplying good and reliable products to local businesses.”
Despite the assumption that Nectere was due to go into liquidation on 1 February, no official confirmation has been received that this is indeed what happened.
