UK trade association BOSS has provided details of some upcoming events, including its in-person annual general meeting later this month.
The association’s AGM, as well as the BOSS Business Supplies Charity (BBSC) Day, are taking place at Belton Woods in Lincolnshire on 15 September.
This year’s annual meeting – which is free for members and their employees – will be held over two hours on the morning of the 15th. It will include an update on BOSS activities from CEO Amy Hutchinson, a virtual Q&A between BOSS Chairman Simon Drakeford and UK politician Steve Baker and a town hall-type panel with the BOSS Board.
After lunch, the day will continue with golfing and spa activities, followed by a dinner, which will help raise funds for the BBSC. Its Chairperson Graeme Chapman stated: “We are delighted at how popular the Golf Day has been with the industry and look forward to raising money for those in need within our sector. There are a few spots left for the spa and dinner, so please encourage those you know to attend. Thank you to our generous headline sponsor, EVO Group, and our many other supporters.”
Meanwhile, BOSS has also released details of the Visual Media Conference, a three-day joint virtual initiative between itself, the British Printing Industries Federation and Creative Digital Industries. The theme of the event is ‘sustainability through innovation’, and BOSS has curated the content – focusing on environmental sustainability – for the third day, 23 September.
BOSS members, including 3M, Essity and Nestlé, will be sharing their thoughts on topics such as environmental disclosure and communicating sustainability performance. More details of the programme and how to register can be found here.
