International cleaning and hygiene event CMS Berlin is back after a four-year hiatus.
The show has been confirmed for 19-22 September 2023 at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. It is traditionally organised every two years by Messe Berlin but has not been held as an in-person event since 2019. The last show recorded 448 exhibitors – the highest number to date – from 25 countries.
Director of CMS Berlin Ruth Senitz is optimistic the figures can be matched in 2023. She stated: “The keen interest in CMS 2023 shows how important it is for the cleaning industry to meet on the grounds again and exchange views face-to-face. Our exhibitors have come through these four years in relatively good shape, which shows how vital the cleaning industry is in this globalised world.”
The trade show will once again focus on innovations and technological advances in cleaning machines and devices as well as cleaning, care and disinfectant products. Organisers noted the platform is an opportunity to discuss the ongoing challenges in the industry including sustainability, automation and recruitment.
The first day of the show will host the CMS Purus Innovation Awards and the winners will be announced during an evening event at Marshall Haus. CMS will also feature an Innovation Circle to offer start-ups and new companies a direct opportunity to get started in the cleaning industry.
Additionally, the event has scheduled special shows featuring practical applications for cleaning machines and products as well as lectures held at the CMS Practice Forum.
