The BOSS Business Supplies Charity (BBSC) is to have a new Chair and Vice Chair.

Office products industry legend Graeme Chapman MBE is stepping down as Chair of the charity at the end of this year after nine years in charge. He will be succeeded by Martin Wilde, a well-known figure in the sector and a market research partner of OPI.

Wilde has been Vice Chair of the BBSC for a number of years, and stepping into this role is Kelly Hilleard, OPI’s Finance and Operations Manager. The BBSC team also includes Debbie Nice (Treasurer) and Liz Whyte (Secretary).

“It has been an honour and pleasure to serve as Chair of this vitally important charity, which is now in its 95th year,” said Chapman. “I am delighted to be handing over to a very capable and committed team – led by an industry stalwart – and I trust they will continue to be supported, as I have been, by the industry in general.”

Wilde said he was well aware of the big shoes he has to fill.

“Graeme has done an extraordinary job over very many years and we are so grateful, not only for this, but also for the fact he is willing to stay on as a trustee so we can continue to benefit from his wisdom and advice,” he stated.

Hilleard added: “Having been a trustee for almost a year now, I am honoured to be asked to step up as Martin’s Vice Chair. I hope to complement his work by being a sounding board, an extra pair of eyes and ears, and generally supporting where possible. I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
