The BOSS Business Supplies Charity (BBSC) has unveiled the names of the companies which have chosen to be its corporate patrons for 2023.

The charity launched its patronage scheme at the end of 2022. The 12 businesses that have elected to participate this year are: Avery, BIC, Brother UK, Fellowes Brands, Highlands, OPI, OT Group, Pukka Pads, Ryman, SC Johnson Professional, Uni Mitsubishi Pencil, and Viking.

“We launched the patron scheme in response to the extraordinarily steep cost of living increases we are seeing at present,” said BBSC Chair Martin Wilde. “We have been overwhelmed by the rapid and very positive response to the scheme by the industry and are so grateful to these 12 companies for pledging their support. We are also delighted that the BOSS Federation has agreed to be our honorary patron.”

There is still space for those wishing to become individual patrons to pledge their support, Wilde added.

The charity is holding a black-tie celebration Patrons’ Dinner at Stationers’ Hall at 6:30 pm on 16 February. Wilde is keen to point out that the dinner – made possible through the assistance of OT Group and OPI – is an opportunity to highlight the work of the charity and to thank current and prospective patrons for their support. The guest of honour at the dinner will be Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards.
