RJ Schinner President Steve Schultz has been confirmed as the new Chair of City of Hope’s National Business Products Industry (NBPI) Council and Committee.
Schultz will take over from Scott Light, who recently announced he is retiring from Georgia-Pacific after 25 years with the company.
The new Chair is, of course, a familiar face in the US business products world following a career of more than 30 years that has included senior roles at firms such as United Stationers/Essendant, GOJO, S.P. Richards and Supply Source Enterprises. He joined North American redistribution company RJ Schinner earlier this year. Schultz has played a significant part in City of Hope’s fundraising efforts over the years; he is a former member of the NBPI Council and was the Spirit of Life Honoree in 2017.
Schultz will be just the eighth NBPI Chair since the Council was established 40 years ago. He follows in the footsteps of Jack Miller, Randy Larrimore, Bob Parker, Ron Shaw, Jamie Fellowes, Wayne Beacham and the retiring Light.
